Mrs. Manjula Suresh was diagnosed with Ovarian cancer few years back. She was operated and received multiple lines of therapy (A total of six times) before she consulted us. She was grossly symptomatic with rapid disease progression. The family had given hope in view of her general condition. Though she was treated adequately and correctly at previous hospitals but Ovarian cancer is known for it's multiple recurrences and it's all about perseverance and working out a new strategy at each recurrence. We gave them hope and started on a protocol which was not tried before. We were gradual and caliberated in our approach taking one step at a time. She started improving and we did face some challenges in between which we handled as per situation. She had a great family support which helped a lot. As of now she has completed her treatment and is under follow up. Her last scan showed remarkable recovery. We are happy that she decided to come to us as a last resort and didn't give up where it was the most likely route for her.
