Her expertise in public health program implementation led her to AIIMS New Delhi, where she worked as a project consultant with the World health organization (WHO) on international level health initiatives. Subsequently she joined National Board of Examination in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) as Assistant Director (Medical), playing a key role in medical education, counseling and policy execution.
In addition to her academic and administrative responsibilities, Dr. Sneha has made significant contributions to clinical research and bioethics. She served as a Co–Principal Investigator (Sub-Investigating Officer) in a Yellow Fever Vaccine clinical trial conducted in collaboration with the Serum Institute of India, where she gained extensive experience in vaccine research, clinical trial operations, and regulatory compliance. She was also appointed as a Consultant to the Bioethics Unit at the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), contributing to ethical review processes, policy formulation, and the strengthening of ethical frameworks governing biomedical and public health research.
She also had a productive tenure with the Ex-servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS), serving at the regional centre, New Delhi and regional centre ECHS (Air Force), Bengaluru, further strengthening her experience in the large healthcare systems and beneficiary focused service delivery.
Guided by a deep desire to create meaningful impact at the community level, she envisioned and founded Solaris Cancer Centre. Under her compassionate leadership, patient centric approach and strong problem solving skills, Solaris is poised to transform cancer care delivery- touching countless lives and setting new benchmarks in accessible, ethical and comprehensive oncology care.
An Indian Army Veteran with 22 years of service dedicated to the nation and over 25 years under his belt as a doctor, he has been trained from the most prestigious institutes of the country like Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Pune where he completed his MBBS & MD in internal Medicine and later Medical Oncology from AIIMS New Delhi. A burning desire to transform the way cancer care is practiced today and to take service delivery to the doorsteps of patients he has done extensive work on tele oncology over last few years and also established his own platform teleoncocare.com where he reached remote areas of India and treated countless patients.
He joined hands with Dr Sneha Soni to establish Solaris with a vision that cancer care is a far more inclusive approach than just treating the disease. He feels patient needs to be supported in every step of their journey because their fight is more internal than external. We often treat the disease which is visible but in this process miss the traumatized soul which is inside the patient as well as their caregivers. He feels it’s a journey which has just started.
